“Let’s get ready to rumble, fall back and get our clean on!  Spring and Summer is gone.  With Fall now here, what better time to spruce up your space and add some cash to your wallet. “

The term “Fall Back” not only reminds us to set our clocks back, but it also indicates its time to focus on cleaning out our treasured spaces.  Yes, as the leaves begin to fall, weather, seasons and time changes, we need to focus on the Fall and non-essential items we no longer need. We have tucked away and convinced ourselves that we will find good use of our 20 year-old outdoor equipment we have stored in the backyard, garage and shed.  The truth is, it’s time to let it go.  Fortunately, these items are not visible to your neighbors or the HOA, but you know they are there – consider recycling them to get a return on your investment.

Now is your opportunity to “fall into some cash.” According to iScrap App, “We suggest cashing it in now as the steel and copper prices really have been strong the last few months.”

Neighborhood and community yard sales are now underway during the fall season. While popular items such as clothing, household, furniture, tools and etc are selling many outdoor items are not. This is a great opportunity to scrap the old weed wackers, lawn mowers, grills, etc.

Instead of going another year storing these items, why not recycle them. The funds you receive can go towards a new/newer purchase. The benefits are two-fold: you declutter and become a sustainable steward and you reap the benefits monetarily.
